Developing a product brand takes focused messaging delivered to the right audience at the right time.
The Candidate Concierge Service is a unique offering that significantly improves candidate engagement by using personal interactions to communicate value & respect from before the first interview to after the hiring decision has been made and communicated.
The brief narratives below show the difference the Candidate Concierge Service makes.
Jannett is a successful recruiter that has established a strong rapport with Michael, an experienced IT project manager that no longer feels appreciated at his job but is apprehensive about changing to a new company. After a couple weeks of periodic contact Jannett persuades Michael to interview for the open IT director position at a regional bank she is under contract with. Michael has come to trust Jannett's input and steps out hesitantly to make the next move in his career leaning on Jannett's assurance that he will be much happier in a new role.
Common Recruiting Scenario
Michael clicks 'Finish' on the companies mandatory application and immediately receives an automated email thanking him for applying. A few minutes later he receives an encouraging text from Jannett saying that she will be in touch when she has any news; that was 10 days ago.
Jannett changed Micheal's status in her ATS from 'Prospect' to 'Applied' after she sent the last text, her next scheduled contact with Michael is in two weeks, after the first round of interviews should be completed. Jannett is now focused on Carmella the next candidate, and next commission in line.
Michael is angry, anxious and hopeful all at the same time. He no longer sees Jannett as a trusted adviser due to her lack of contact and that makes him worried about the company as a whole, but having come this far he is fearful of missing an opportunity.
"We regret to inform you that the position you applied for has been filled by a more qualified candidate, thank you for you interest in Acme bank." As Michael stares at the form letter in disbelief, he reviews the past 4 weeks since he agreed to interview for the directors position in his mind and he can hardly believe it. No phone call, no feedback, just a form letter; if that's how they treat people I don't want to work there anyway Michael says to himself.
The next day Michael closes his account at the bank he almost worked for. As he open a new account at a competing bank Michael tells the account specialist about his experience.
Candidate Concierge Scenario
Michael clicks 'Finish' on the companies mandatory application and immediately received an automated email thanking him for applying. A few minutes later he receives an encouraging text from Jannett saying that he will get a call from his Candidate Concierge tomorrow.
The next day Micheal gets a call from Erin at Hire Respect. She describes how the interview process will work, confirms the position he is applying for, provides directions to the interview site, explains how valuable his opinion and feedback is to Acme bank. and warmly welcomes him to the interview process. Michael hangs up thinking, wow this company is on top of things; I knew this was a good decision.
During their post interview call Erin assures Michael that his feedback is confidential , he begins to describe his experience with various staff members he interacted with that Acme would newer have known about otherwise.
"Well Michael", Erin says, "I'm sorry to let you know that Acme bank. has chosen to move forward with another candidate and that they wont be offering you a position at this time. However they do appreciate you taking time to interview and would like to offer you access to a private placement network that may help you find another position, the invitation will be in your inbox today. A letter for your records will be sent tomorrow and it will include a small gift so please don't throw it away" Michael says goodbye and hangs up disappointed about not getting the job, but curious about the private placement network he now has access to.
The next Friday Michael walks into the bank to cash a check and endorses it with the thank you gift he received in the mail from Acme. He mentions to the teller that he almost got to work there and quietly asks if she knows if they are looking for any other help.
